A free open-source, cross-platform 2D physics simulator, makes you want to pick up blocks, or maybe crayons, and learn more about the way things fall and move under pressure.

Written by a Swedish graduate student, the program teaches concepts of restitution and friction, so it's great to load up with the kids, but you'll probably find yourself sneaking a few turns by yourself at creating, and knocking over, shapes and lines.

Die Comic Con war schon sehr interessant! Natuerlich noch viel interessanter fuer einen ehemaligen Comic Fan!

Es war toll, die Energie zu spueren, die sich zwischen den Sammlern und Sammler/Verkauefern aufbaute.  Es waren auch einige Graphiker zu Gast, die ihre Werke darboten und auch verkauften. Darunter auch Carmine Infantino:

Dieser gab Autrogramme und zeichnete aber auch fuer die Fans. Schon ein besonderer Mann:

Weiters traf ich den Graphiker von HowToons ueber die ich vor kurzem berichtet habe (Artikel).

Abschliessend, kann ich noch ueber das Treffen von "Cookie Cutter Girl" berichten! Interessant, eine Superheldin in Person zu treffen:



Sie hat zwei Gitarren, eine gute und eine boese,... Ich bin mir nicht sicher was genau ihre anderen Superhelden-Faehigkeiten sind, aber ihre Webseite erzaehlt mehr. Sie besitzt auch eine eigene Band und ein MySpace Profil mit beachtlichen 8500 Freunden!

Ach ja, vor dem Gebaeude, wo die Comic Con stattfand formte sich eine Truppe die die Wahl von Harvey Dent umworb! Mit Stickern, Schildern und Sprechrohren! Harvey Dent ist ein Charakter aus Batman, der durch einen Unfall in den Boesewicht Two-Face verwandelt wird! Harvey Dent wird auch in dem neuen Batman Film The Dark Knight (Trailer) auftreten,



aber das ist eine andere Geschichte....
